You will find following type of questions as otherwise is not decided by
the Board of Bangladesh Bar Council: according to Rule 65A of The
Bangladesh Legal Practitioners And Bar Council Rules, 1972
In last year the High Court Permission have short like notes and drafting question too. Actually this note from the middle and legal statement.
- Drafting of a Memo of Appeal against a judgement (civil,criminal matters)
- Drafting of a Habeas Corpus Petition(Habeas Corpus is also a kind of writ)
- Drafting of a Petition u/s 561A Cr.P.C.
- Drafting of a Civil Revision u/s 115 C.P.C.
- Drafting of Writ Petition.
Mark Distribution:
Total Mark: 25
@ Civil Matters
- Qualifying marks for written test shall be 12 out of 25 and for oral test shall be 12 out of 25; but the aggregate marks of the two tests must be at least 25 (i.e. 12+13).
As to Mark
1. Group “A”: carry 8 marks each question.
2. Group “B”: carry 8 marks each question.
3. Group “C”: carry 9 marks each question.
As to Answer:
- For Format - 5 marks
- For Arrangement of Facts - 5marks
- For Formulation of Prayers - 5marks
- For Language and style - 5marks
- For application of Law and framing of grounds - 5mark

(You will be answer one questions from this part in question paper.)

2.Civil Revision
@ Criminal Matters
1.Memo of Appeal or
2.Civil Revision
@ Criminal Matters
(You will answer two questions from this part in question paper.)
1.Memo of Appeal with or without Bail Petition
2.Criminal Miscellaneous Application under section 561A of CrPC for Quashing a criminal Proceeding. Or
3. Habeas Corpus Petition under section 491 of CrPC.
@ Writ:
1.Memo of Appeal with or without Bail Petition
2.Criminal Miscellaneous Application under section 561A of CrPC for Quashing a criminal Proceeding. Or
3. Habeas Corpus Petition under section 491 of CrPC.
@ Writ:
(You have to answer one out of two writs.)
- Writ of Habeas Corpus or
- Writ of Certiorari or
- Writ of Prohibition or
- Writ of Mandamus or
- Writ of Quo-warranto or
There can be writ of habeas corpus with other type of writ.
