Former Biman MD Shafiqur's wife, 4 others remanded in domestic worker torture case.

A court has granted remand of four people, including former Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Shafiqur Rahman, his wife Bithi, for various periods in a case filed against them for torturing an 11-year-old child domestic worker.

According to court sources, Md. Shafiqur Rahman was granted five days remand, his wife Bithi seven days, domestic worker Rupali Khatun five days and Mosha. Sufia Begum six days remand.
